Does it work on camp Wi-Fi?
Yes. Your day's plan and the exercise videos for it download while you have signal, so the app works in the gym or the donga with no connection. Progress syncs when you're back online.
I'm on nights. Does it handle that?
Night shift is a first-class option. Pre-shift becomes late afternoon, post-shift becomes morning, and the plan protects your sleep window instead of fighting it. Swing changeover days get lighter sessions.
Our camp gym is three dumbbells and a rower.
Perfect — that's the gym we designed for. Tell the app what's on site (down to "nothing") and every session is built from that. Bodyweight-only plans are included.
What about the food? I can't cook in camp.
You don't have to. FIFOFit's meal guidance is written around a standard mess: protein choice, salad bar, sides, portion cues. No recipes, no shopping.
Can my employer see my data?
No. On a site pilot, employers see participation and engagement numbers for the cohort — never an individual's workouts, weight, sleep or anything personal. Your data is yours.
Is it actually live? How do I start?
Yes — it's live now. Open the app in your phone's browser at fifofitapp.com.au/app, sign in with your email (we send a one-tap link, no password), set your roster and gear, and your plan's built in about two minutes. Tap "Add to Home Screen" and it runs like any other app, offline on the swing.
What does it cost?
Nothing. FIFOFit is in its founding release and the whole app is free — there's no subscription and no card to enter. If that ever changes, everyone on the app will hear about it in the app well beforehand. Site pilots for crews and camps are arranged separately.
